A drone camera is an inspection or FPV camera that cannot afford mass or a loose holder. Vibration will unscrew a cheap M12. Rolling shutter will jello the ground. The 2025 .com page listed 'benefits of drones'. Here is the module list instead.

Spec the airframe
- Mass and TTL. A tall lens is a lever in the wind.
- Shutter: global if you inspect or map from a moving platform.
- Interface: MIPI into the flight SoC, or a small USB board if the payload is a companion computer.
- Focus lock. Glue, thread locker, a holder that does not creep at altitude cold.
Start in MIPI camera modules for most flight computers. Use USB camera modules when the payload computer already expects UVC. Night or IR inspection is night vision modules, not a bigger megapixel count.
We do not sell a drone. We sell the camera that has to survive one. If the drawing is a phone module in a foam mount, it will look like a phone module in a foam mount.
